Dr. Hinman went into family practice because he liked the idea of being able to take care of entire families and the individuals within the family throughout their life.  He thoroughly enjoys getting to know each patient and feels that influences from each individual’s family can also influence their health.  Dr. Hinman takes a personalized approach, encouraging patients to take an active roll in their health care.  He sees himself as a resource for patients providing various options for their care and believes in involving the patient in these health care decisions. Dr. Mark Hinman understands that patients may be interested in alternative medicine and although his practice is traditional medicine, he works with patients to coordinate their overall health care.  He feels that every person should be able to have a doctor available to call who is regarded as ones personal physician.  Dr. Hinman strives to make every patient feel that he is their personal physician.
